David Sterman, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™  founded Huguenot Financial Planning to fulfill a long-standing goal of empowering consumers as they prepare for a prosperous future. David believes that financial planners can be especially useful during “life change events.” These can entail a job promotion with a new salary, a growing family, inheritance, divorce, pending retirement or other such milestones in life.

David got his career start as a Wall Street analyst. Over his career in the financial industry, he has discovered all of the ways that national Wall Street firms fail to act in the best interest of their clients. David went on to use that knowledge in service of consumers, working as a financial journalist and investment analyst for more than 15 years. David’s previous positions include Director of Research for Individual Investor magazine, Managing Editor at RealMoney.com and Chief Market Strategist for StreetAuthority, LLC.

Beyond his career focus on investing, David perceived a need for financial planning that would go beyond investment advice to help clients with decision-making in all aspects of their financial lives.

David’s academic career includes earning Bachelor’s Degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from Emory University, along with a Master’s in the Science of Management from Georgia Tech. He has also been very actively involved in the non- profit community, at both the Board Director level and as a volunteer.

Denise Summerford has appeared on Broadway in such shows as the Rosie O’Donnell/Boy George musical Taboo, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Saturday Night Fever and Grease. She has played leading roles in the Broadway touring companies of Leader of the Pack, Grease, Company and The Who’s Tommy. David Sterman

David Sterman

President & CEO

Michele Zipp

Reiki Master, Wedding Officiant, Writer

Whatever your struggle may be at this time, you do not need to face it alone. My name is Ashley Walko and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Often times we can become overwhelmed with our circumstances, we can feel down about who we are, or we allow fear to block us from reaching our full potential. If you want more for yourself, then join me on a path of gradually creating a new way of being in the world.

I specialize in adolescents, college-aged students, millennials, young professionals and adults. Most of my experience includes treating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, life-adjustment issues, PTSD, relationship issues, low self-esteem and mood regulation difficulties. I’ve worked in the school setting, psychiatric inpatient and a group outpatient practice.

I will be committed to you and invest myself in helping you reach any goal you may have. My hope is that you will join me.

Michele Zipp is a Reiki Master trained in the Dr. Usui method. Reiki is an incredible healing modality using life force energy that has the power to heal body, mind, and spirit — helping to balance chakras, relieve pain, clear toxins, and reduce stress to name a few benefits. Reiki is also beneficial for children, during pregnancy, postpartum, and while trying to conceive. It’s a beautiful healing practice for couples as well. She offers one-on-one sessions, as well as healing workshops for kids and adults. In addition to Reiki, Michele is a Wedding Officiant and creates custom ceremonies incorporating magical rituals with crystal grids, handfasting, and more. Michele is also a writer, editor, and parent educator. Visit http://www.michelezipp.com/ to learn more about Michele and book an appointment.
